Flagship initiative
The on-ground arm of Uqaabi Foundation. Every project below runs under this initiative by volunteers, mentors and partners — listening first to children, families and neighbourhoods, then building programs that last.
In partnership with "Each One Feed One", Parwaaz-e-Shaheen ran a 3-month digital literacy program for 10 underprivileged girls in Shram Vihar, Delhi. Four tutors and two supervisors taught basic web and email skills six days a week using three computers. The 1.5 to 2 hour classes prepared the girls for opportunities at the "Each One Feed One" Silayi Centre.
An ongoing educational program preparing children for better schools. Tutoring in Math, English and Science across four evenings a week, 1 to 1.5 hours per session. Each child receives consistent attention from volunteers who become long-term mentors.
An educational initiative addressing learning gaps among schoolchildren. Daily classes focus on key subjects with weekly tests, complemented by community surveys and weekend workshops for holistic development.
